What is a PHO and what does it do?

PHOs are a group of doctors, nurses and other providers trained and skilled in health, working together in your area to provide a better health service for you and your family.

Primary Health Organisations receive money from the Government to help us provide different types of services. We can now do more things to keep people healthy and not just look after them when they are sick.
